Charm Thickness
We are happy to say we are now offering a thicker gold gauge on our medium and large charms. Over the past few years we’ve received custom requests to offer thicker charms especially when paired with our heavy weight chains. We will continue selling all three charm sizes in the default 22 gauge, but for those of you wanting a more substantial piece, you can now select the option of 18 gauge on both loose charms and charm necklaces.
Benefits of Upgrading

Timeless Investment
The true heirloom feeling. The thicker charms make for a statement piece and add a substantial presence to your jewelry. The added weight elevates the overall aesthetic of your piece.

Made to last
Thicker charms are less prone to bending or breaking compared to thinner ones. They are designed to withstand daily wear and tear, maintaining their original appearance for years to come.

Versatility
Our charms are designed to be versatile and easy to incorporate into various jewelry pieces, from necklaces to bracelets, offering flexibility with all your styling needs.

Charm Gauges Explained
Metal gauge thickness is a measurement used to determine the thickness of metal sheets or wires.
Gauge thickness is often expressed as a numerical value, with higher numbers indicating thinner metal and lower numbers indicating thicker metal.
All of our silhouette charms, by default, are cut out of 22ga (.759mm) sheets of gold. We now offer the option to upgrade to a more substantial thickness of 18ga (1.214mm) for our products offering Medium and Large charms.

The 22 gauge charms are ideal when paired with our classic dainty weight chain. They offer a minimal, lightweight look.

The 18 gauge charms are ideal when paired with our heavy weight chains. They make for statement pieces for those who like their jewelry to carry some substantial weight. All our pave diamond charms are 18 gauge.
