4 ways to use your favorite family photos
Family photos are a great way to capture special moments as your family grows. There is some planning involved leading up to the photo shoot, like choosing everyone's outfits and deciding on a place...and hoping everyone is happy and in their best behavior:) Once you get the pictures, you post a few online to show friends and family, but what do you do with them after that? I am sharing a few ideas below.
Before we proceed, keep in mind if you hired a professional photographer you should ask their permission to print the photos through another source.
1. Get them framed
For the best selection of frames, we love using Framebridge - we actually use them for all our framing needs at LPS. Ordering is super easy. You can upload your photo on their site or mail in the originals. There is nothing better than a favorite photographed framed in an elegant frame. Is classic and timeless!
2. Turn them into keepsakes
When it comes to treasuring favorite memories, we know we do it best. Your favorite family photos will make the most elegant heirlooms once we have transformed them into custom silhouette pieces, like our jewelry or ornaments.
3. Transform them into art
Art can take many shapes and forms and pictures inspire some amazing art pieces. I love Minted take on using photos into state shapes art. Think about making something special with photos from your vacation - some states have definitely more interesting shapes than others.
4. Make a little book
In this day and age, creating a photo album is super easy and fun. You can gather photos you've shared on social media sites into one tiny book. I love using Blurb and Chatbooks for all my album needs. I even used them for LPS's look book. I am very pleased with both company's services.
There's a special going on with Blurb books now. You can receive 40% off entire purchase with code FAM40.
Enjoy!
